Looking for a home in cardiff

Hi I am moving from london need advice. Is it better to live in pengam green or Radyr. I was worried as heard Pengam green can be quite rough and has a constant mining site? Looking for a house so want to know!

If your budget isn't very generous I doubt you will find much in catchment for Cardiff high. In that sense radyr better. High schools for pengam green I'd avoid personally. I'm sending my kids Welsh due to this issue.
