BST Hyde Park event - have you taken a toddler?

Has anyone ever taken an under 2 year old to a BST event at Hyde Park? It says on the website that pushchairs are allowed but restricted in some areas for obvious reasons.
I've never been to a gig at Hyde Park so don't know if it's a ridiculous idea to take the LO.
We have a babysitter but only for the evening and I'd like to see some of the day time acts - hence considering just taking the nipper.

I've never taken my kids (mainly because it is one of the very few times we go out as a couple alone!) but we do go every year (for the last 10 or so years) and there are often parents with children. There's often a chilled atmosphere in the day and enough space, if you're further back, to sit on the grass, have a drink and chill. This year it doesn't look too hot thank goodness otherwise I'd say definitely don't take the toddler as there is very little shade.
No way you can find a babysitter for the day? Who can then hand over to the night time babysitter?

Thanks @3kidscrazy that would be a better idea wouldn't it.

We were there on Saturday. It was packed compared to previous year, no space for running about, wall-to-wall picnic blankets. I would avoid tbh.
