Has anyone been to a Cat Cafe

If so can you tell me about it please.
I love cats and have always had at least two.
Haven't had one for a few years now for various reasons. I miss having one around so much.
Dh has just told me he's made a booking for us to have afternoon tea at a cat cafe in New Forest.
I've read the rules and understandably people are not allowed to approach the cats, if a cat comes to you it's ok to stroke them.
I'm worried, cats are snooty little fuckers, I want cuddles but dh says I'm not allowed to empty a tin of tuna in my handbag to tempt them
Am I going to be disappointed.

A few years ago I did "cat cuddling" with our local cat shelter to help socialise them as the staff simply didn't have time to spend with them (they now have one slightly snootier volunteer who refers to it as "spending time with the cats"). It was a very enjoyable thing to do and I'd been worried I'd get very attached to all the cats but actually, just like with people, I bonded better with some than others. Most of the cats got adopted very quickly. It was very clean and well-run when I volunteered there, and I'm sure it still is.

Went to one in Japan, it was lovely, very well run with lovely mogs. I don't need to go to one now as I have slightly too many rescue cats in my house + a mob in the garden too Blush

I've been to one with dp. It seemed like a nice environment for the cats, but there were no cuddles as the cats came nowhere near us. They seemed very happy though.
