Actors who 100% embodied character from book

I was just thinking today about book to film adaptations and actors who I thought 100% embodied the character as I imagined them.

For me Helena BC as Bellatrix Lestrange, Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort, the whole cast of Matilda!

Who does it for you? Interested to hear !

Ken Stott , looks just as Rebus should , but unfortunately the series was not as good as the earlier John Hannah version . Hannah himself produced the earlier series and he wanted Peter Mullen as Rebus.

Really really loved the Elizabeth Bennet in the BBC series (don’t actually know the actors name) so much closer to the book character than Keira knightly (IMO anyway)

When I started reading rebus, I imagined Ken Stott, this was before any of it was filmed.

Alan Rickman was great as Snape, but so different to book-Snape, who was 31 when Harry started at Hogwarts.

John Leguizamo as Tybalt in Romeo + Juliet.
Not a big fan of Jennifer Ehle as Elizabeth Bennett - she's not quite right.
Interestingly, although Sean Bean is nothing like Sharpe was originally described in the novels, Cornwell has said that once Bean was cast, he began to picture Sharpe in that light as he wrote subsequent novels.
Fry and Laurie are perfect as Jeeves and Wooster.
