Bike rides in Bournemouth / Boscombe?

Single mum, two children (6 and 9).
I’ve finally invested in a bike rack for the car so the world’s our oyster (or at least around south of England)

Going to Bournemouth and would love to surprise the children with some bike ride routes but no idea where to start.

We will be staying in boscombe.

They are proficient and enthusiastic bike riders. I will be running in the mornings so I’ll be hoping for fairly flat routers please!

Any locals available to provide some advise please?

Thanks v much

It’s out of town so you’d have to drive there, but Moors valley is great for a bike ride with kids.

I'd say head along the prom from Boscombe towards hengistbury head. It's a beautiful area to explore and the path is nice and flat most of the way.

Or for somewhere a short drive away, Moors Valley has a lovely visitor centre with miles of cycle tracks and other activities for kids. It will be busy, but worth it

Brilliant thank you!

During summer months can’t ride on promenade 10-6. I will look in yo moor valley though

Thank you
