Pot of tea here, but yes. It was a loooooong busy week and I could use a break but i have 6 weeks to go...

I’ll join you. I woke up with a headache so I’ll go and make a decaf coffee.

Also awake but not ready to get up yet. 4 weeks to hols and I had a fairly heavy week emotionally so trying to sit with it and process it. I usually do a yoga class every morning but I have given myself the weekend off as I felt I just needed to hit pause on my player. Weather is looking good here. Any plans for today?

Coffee in bed here with dS1 and Ds2. I had back surgery 10 days ago and feeling really achey, but also a bit cooped up and in need of a walk so trying to summon up the energy for that.

I promised I would take them out for breakfast this morning. They are all still sleeping so I am just having myself a quiet half an hour or so

I'm here too, sat with a coffee and Mumsnet, I work full time, so Sunday's mornings are my time. Not getting up until 10 at least

Been awake since 5.15am. Really frustrating as there was no need. Now back in bed with a coffee while ds and a friend make breakfast for themselves and (apparently) me.

Yesterday I woke at 4 and couldn't get back to sleep, too hot and worrying about something. I ended up having a nap in the afternoon which I never do. Slept till 7 this morning, much better.

We went to the PYO farm yesterday, I have 3kg of strawberries waiting to be made into jam. I said I'd get up early today and do it before it got too hot. Oh well.

Coffee is the only thing I want this morning. DD cluster fed all night so I got no sleep and DS got up 3 times screaming for 'mummy' so fingers crossed the caffeine kicks in soon as we have a ton of housework to do today as well as getting out the house for a bit 😴

Sat in my kitchen with a coffee. Detritus of breakfast around me - don’t want to think of cleaning that up just yet!
Chores to do this morning and then adventure golf with dd and a friend this afternoon (her mum and I will sit and drink more coffee and catch up while they go round!). A school event at 5 will round off the weekend. 2 1/2 days left for us - can’t wait!

Just making pancakes for the dds and looking at the week on the calendar with a sense of impending doom!

My son has a rowing regatta and was being collected at 7.15. He stayed over his girlfriend so I was up at 6.30 texting him to make sure he was up! Arrived home grumpy but he’s off! So now sitting here after having breakfast wondering if I can go back to bed (my teenage daughter will sleep for another few hours yet)...

Sat in bed with a lovely cup of tea . Dh has gone out early with ddog but it’s started raining so I feel a bit guilty lying here.

Got a quiet week ahead at home decorating. Got the paint and brushes ready to go so I can start early tomorrow.
