He's 6 and loves this song. I hate Ed Sheeran with a passion. WIBU to disown him immediately? Wink(just in case anyone thought I was serious!)

He's 6 - he has many years of loving music that you hate before him. Accept it!

Soola · 05/07/2019 07:34

Where has he heard it?

Find the adult responsible for exposing him to this drivel and make sure they never inflict this harm on your child again.

SimplySteveRedux · 05/07/2019 07:43

I'd think his musical taste is influenced by someone. Fess up OP, are you a closet Ed fan? Grin

MyGastIsFlabbered · 05/07/2019 07:48

He heard it in bloody Waitrose and recognised it from the M&S adverts Angry

Definitely not an Ed fan, though he does seem a very nice person, his music sucks.

Before this I thought the lowest they could sink was Call Me Maybe...I was wrong

When it was first out DD and her friend thought it was hilarious to change the lyrics slightly so it became “I’m in love with the shape of poo “ . I can’t hear it now without thinking of that.

Sunnysidegold · 05/07/2019 09:52

I think I'd prefer "shape of poo"

Soola · 05/07/2019 10:00

I’ve just remembered that my daughter used to sing

“Crossroads, crossroads, see you at the crossroads, crossroads ....”

Blazin’ Squad Sad

She was around 4 at the time and has a lovely little sweet voice!

Awful song.

KurriKurri · 05/07/2019 12:23

Showing my age here but my DS used to listen to Whigfield 'Saturday Night' on a loop, also Outhere brothers 'Boom Boom Boom let me hear you say WAYO'

So count yourselves lucky, I very nearly lost my mind Grin

(If it's any consolation he's 34 now and his taste has improved !)

SimplySteveRedux · 05/07/2019 12:38

Outhere brothers 'Boom Boom Boom let me hear you say WAYO'

Oh that song. Ugh ugh ugh.

pelirocco123 · 05/07/2019 12:43

That song has a nice tune , but everytime i hear it I mutter why are not you in love with her brilliant mind , her kind heart , her strength or any other worthwhile attributes
