Returned trainers - one pair stolen from package - anything I can do??

So I bought 4 pairs of trainers from sports direct online for DS to try on, and returned 3. It appears that one pair were stolen en route since SD say only 2 came back to them and I cant prove I sent 3. So contacted the courier since I had paid the extra for insurance (£120 worth of trainers!) They want photos of the inside of the parcel and the outside of the parcel and wont consider my claim without them. Im rather pissed off since I don't have photos. Thats £50 I've lost! Wont be using that courier again! Anyone know of anything else I can do to get my money back?

What about the weight of the parcel?

When you returned them was there a weight on the parcel?

I no longer have the actual slip from the collect plus shop. I saw the refund and binned it, only twigged later it wasnt the whole refund

The courier. You can prove the weight of the parcel.
