Trains to Glasgow - from Airdrie or Motherwell

I’m going to be travelling up from the Midlands on Thu next week to Scotland, staying at the Premier Inn in Newhouse. I’m there with the whole family to scatter my mum’s ashes but have arranged to nip into Glasgow for a quick coffee with some business contacts I’ve never actually met. I need to be at Queen Street or Central for 3, and it looks like there are frequent connections from Motherwell or Airdrie. Scottish mumsnetters: which of those would the best for parking, or can you suggest a better option? Thanks.

There's parking at wishaw train station. Dont know if there's much at motherwell

Or you could drive most of the way and do park and ride from Shields Rd underground station in Glasgow

You could get bus from Eurocentral.
If your going by train, Drumgelloch, Has better parking than Airdrie and is closest to Newhouse.
Trains about every 10mins and takes 20-30 depending if you get an express or not.
Takes you into Queen St low level.and

Wishaw has just had its car park extended, that's probably your best bet for parking.

Quick Google Drumgelloch is closer than Wishaw. The car park is massive and never full.

Drumgelloch looks perfect - thanks!
