Yes I know, I know..comparison is the thief of joy and you can’t tell anything about people’s real lives from a few photos, but looking at this gorgeous girl squad today on Instagram and their lovely glossy hair and big smiles, I did feel a teeny pang. Not even to do with the fact they must have access to London’s best restaurants, concerts etc and all that disposable income to enjoy life with, but just having what looks like such a genuinely supportive, close-knit girls’ crew.
I’ve got lovely friends from school and Uni (and local friends) so I’m not lonely, but like a lot of people’s, my friends are fairly scattered about and getting together is a rare event, depending on money, kids’, schedules etc.
It must be lovely to have a real tight-knit girls gang like that to enjoy life with. They look so happy and proud of each other, and just sparkly...!! I want to be part of their sparkly gang too
