Tell me about your lovely expensive-smelling handwash...

Yeah, not the most exciting topic I know!

I’m looking for a hand wash that smells and feels luxurious without actually costing a lot of money- recently I’ve been using Bayley’s of Bond St’s Wild Bluebell and Waterlily which is lovely but I’m a bit bored of it- any suggestions for another I might try?

It doesn’t fit into the ‘not costing a lot’ criteria but Aesop is incredible. I would love to find something that smelt like it for less money.

I love the Aldi jo Malone dupe ones. All of them are nice imo

I buy Scottish Fine Soaps and Heyland & Whittle ones from TK Maxx. They're usually £3, £4 a throw. Lots of nice ones.

I get what I can find but SFS faves are Silver Buckthorn, Sea Kelp and Willow & Bluebell.

H&W I like Wild Lemongrass or Amber Oakmoss.

The Waitrose pink grapefruit one smells nice, but the bottle is very basic, so you'd want to decant it. Yope stuff smells lovely, particularly the honey & bergamot.

When I fancy something really fancy I get Bamboo hand wash from The Bath House Shop but it's £12 a throw so I eke it out whenever I have it... Blush It's super lovely though, made in the Lake District.

Try TK Maxx

My favourite hand wash used to be a Molton Brown orange blossom one but the company have gone downhill and the fragrances are nothing like what they used to be.

Nougat London tuberose and Jasmine is lovely but now sold out.

They have other fragrances

I love the Waitrose Ginger & Clementine one (also use the shower gel) and the Lime & Basil one.

Both smell much fancier than they are (£2)!

I like the method lavender one and the bottle is pretty too.

MissPollyHadADolly19 · 02/07/2019 12:01

I also like most of the method handwashes (actually anything made by them!)
Not exactly expensive but they're lovely smelling.

I've got some lovely rose geranium handwash which we get from a local farmers market, along with glycerine soap. Very cheap, basic packaging so I decant into a nice pump dispenser. The rose geranium and lavender are made with essential oil, not sure about the others.
If you happen to be in Lancashire and see Tiger Muffin soaps on a stall try them.Smile

Aldi do a beautiful Jo Malone style freesia and pear handwash and handcream. I have both in my bathrooms and they smell divine.

KnittingForMittens · 02/07/2019 13:08

Lidl aloe Vera handwash is really nice

NaturalBornWoman · 02/07/2019 13:21

I have St Eval stuff but I guess it's possibly in the expensive category at £10 for liquid hand soap. Beautiful though as are the bars of soap and the candles.

poppy2021 · 02/07/2019 16:09

The Aldi's ones are £2.49. (I think). I like no 3 and no 4. They look much more expensive than they are and last for ages

Layoverlife · 02/07/2019 16:21

Agree with the above the Aldi jo malone dupes are lovely and smell devine 😊
