I need the best possible sanitary towel available. Which brand please? I can't use tampons and moon cups so just sanitary towels please, or are maternity pads better? Thank you in advance.

Maternity pads are designed to be more absorbent than normal sanitary pads, but why do you need such protection? Should your heavy bleeding be investigated or treated before you become anaemic?

It's for one day. I'm going to a concert alone and have to stand most of the day. If I leave to go to the loo I lose my place.

Basically I don't want to miss a good spot for Kiss because of my periods.

I find the always secure night to be the best (the ones in black packaging), use two, one at the front and one at the back and it should see you through. They are scented which isn’t great but they’re good for protection.

Try a maternity pad inside a pair of Tena pants.

And wear something on you right bottom half on which a leak won't show, no make sure you carry clean up kit for the end of the day and a plastic bag (if you can't clean lower garments and will be sitting on return journey)

Have a great day!

Um - won’t you have to wee at some point though?

BowiesJumper · 02/07/2019 10:41

I was going to say double up, as above.

But won't you need a wee during the day? I'm sure someone friendly will save your place? You might feel a bit ropey if you don't drink anything all day.

Try the pads for bladder protection. Always , long plus are good.
They also do underwear too

LoafofSellotape · 02/07/2019 10:49

What about period knickers, they sound like they are super absorbent?

BouleBaker · 02/07/2019 12:15

Always ultra secure smart foam. The smart foam is truly a wonderful invention.

Use Norethisterone and delay your period.

Kotex night time maxi. Like a big mattress.
