Changing name after marriage. Help me write a list of who etc

Getting married soon, taking dps name
So I have the lovely joys of having to change my name on paperwork.
Also for each,. How do I go about it and will I need to get copies of marriage certificate

Also passport do I have to pay for another one? Or can I just change name.

Every utility bill is in my name as it was my rental before dp moved in.

I have recently changed mine and was pleasantly surprised how many places took my word for it over the phone or via email, even HMRC, (second marriage and remember it being a lot more complicated 15 or so years ago!) The only place that I needed to send the marriage certificate was DVLA and that was only driving licence, Reg doc was fine without.

Strangely, both places where my pets microchips are registered needed it in writing and with a copy of marriage certificate

Gas/electric were happy to do it over the phone. I made a list of everywhere I could think of and worked through it.
