Do you think Ivanka Trump has any business representing the U.S on the world stage?

I'm referring to this news article about her at the recent G20 summit:

Other world leaders there - whatever your view of them have legitimacy to be there. Theresa May, Christine Lagarde, Emmanuel Macron, and so forth. But as far as I understand it - Ivanka's only qualification is being the daughter of the current U.S President. I don't think that qualifies her.

Does anyone also see issue with this?

Dammit I wish I’d known it was that easy. My dad was an engineer - I could have thrown up a few bridges by now. Of course I haven’t any engineering, architecture or construction qualifications but hey, who cares, right?

Oh oh and my grandpa was in the army. He was in the war. Hand me my blunderbuss...

And grandma was a nurse... that could be fun.

Hmmmm. Possibly - but I guess they both know they had rich daddies so don’t know any different.

The point is that no one else’s SPADs (which is essentially what Ivanka is) we’re trying to muscle in on what was obviously a high level convo between heads of state and the head of the IMF.

This would be like Theresa May dragging along her husband because he is a successful business man.

This is not a cocktail party. It’s the G20 summit.

It really is the ‘take your kid to work day’ x a million.

She managed to make Theresa May look like an erudite stateswomen in that clip!
