Hayfever or cold? How can you tell?

I do get hayfever slightly and know that pollen is really high at the moment. My eyes are watering,I'm sneezing and have a nose that alternates between streaming and totally blocked. I've also got a bit of a headache.
Do I take cold things or anti histamines?!

Swollen glands, sore throat and a general feeling of achiness distinguishes the onset of a cold for me. In your shoes I'd start with antihistamine. Hope you're feeling better soon!

My thought was that anti histamines can't harm! Thanks I'll try them.
