What to send to someone in hospital

Mil is in hospital. She's really not well. I would like to send her things to alleviate the boredom, make her feel a bit more comfortable and occupied. Maybe a bit of luxury.

Maybe I'm in a panic (it's cancer) but I simply cannot think what!!

Magazines? (The Week is good)
Small Photo album of grandchildren
Home made cards from children
A little gift to be opened every half day/ 3 hours(Labelled as such.)
Scent
Nice washbag with small sized treats like moulton brown

It depends on her likes really.

New pyjamas, warm socks. Slippers.
How frail? Dry shampoo, body wash.
Tablet with games
Ginger biscuits for nausea
Hand cream
Hope she’s alright as one can be.
