Flowers on the table outside - insect nightmare or Pinterest heaven??

Hosting today and thought about adding some pot plants or cut sunflowers to the table outside in a fit of poncetastic-ness

But then thought is that likely to attract every flying fucker within a 15 mile radius????

Any flowers that don't attract insects (bit pointless as a species if there are!)

Artificial ones

I would have thought that the kind of insects that want to pollinate flowers are not the kind of insects that want to bite people/get in their food anyway, so I'm not sure it matters?
