Hi
Posting here for traffic, please can anyone recommend any shows at the Edinburgh fringe this August? Looking for adult shows and ones suitable for 10+ shows.

Tried googling and there is SO much on!

Thanks so much

Nicholas Parsons, as you should once in your life.

I’ve booked Eddie izzard and Henning Wehn, but am a bit overwhelmed by the choice.

Alan Parker. (Simon Munnery). Comedy genius.

If you like true crime then All Killa No Filla are doing a show at some point. I’ve been to one of theirs and they are always well researched and very funny. Definitely not suitable for a 10 year old though

I've just got tickets for

Jason Byrne
Pete Firman (magician/comedy)
Nina Conti
Andrew Maxwell
David O'Doherty

Amongst others. We tend to do the same core folks (above) every year and then try a few ones on spec. We always get Jason Byrne tickets first - he is a must see. We also get cheap seats for as many shows as possible - previews and 2fers

Craig Hill is absolutely brilliant, if you like a bit of camp. I have never laughed so much as I do at his shows. (He does his pre-Fringe honing at my local theatre every year.) Think I'd put him in the adult category though.

We've booked Henning Wehn, Al Murray, Frisky and Mannish, Spencer Jones, Peter Firman and Nina Conti

If you like comedy, Foil Arms and Hog are very funny - check them out on fb or Instagram to get a wee flavour!
David O'Doherty - seen him twice and both times was v glad I had just been for a wee before the start of the show Grin
Also Best of Stand Up shows ie best of irish/scottish etc at The Stand can be fantastic - have seen loads of acts there who went on to become v famous.
Theres an improvised musical show called Showstopper- obvs there will be nights when that is better than others but I've seen that twice and been v impressed.
