What to take to a picnic in this weather?

Been invited to a picnic tomorrow in this boiling weather! I'll be cycling, so don't really want to have to take icepacks with me but I'm dubious about what I can take which will survive a 30 minute journey. I was thinking I could take a Bakewell Tart, but was wanting to take something savoury as well. Any ideas?

Tortilla chips, guacamole and jar of salsa.
If it’s a knife and fork picnic, couscous and chickpea salad travels well.
Tear and share bread or these style of focaccia rolls www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/293860155
Cheese straws
Flapjacks

Rice salad . Cook and cool rice then if you have an ice cube shelf in your freezer spead it on that if not pop into plastic bags or until large plastic container and spread it out thinly .
Using frozen peas and corn and make up the rest of the veg that you want in there tomatoes onions peppers and suchlike then just before you are due to leave stick it all in a large tupperware tub it will stay cold and partially frozen for quite a while

In this weather could you almost take a sliced French stick and a Camembert working on the logic it will be lovely and gooey by the time you get there......Grin

Pasta salad should travel safely, take a separate box of things like thinly sliced celery, cherry tomatoes, olives, and combine with the pasta at the venue.

Radishes with a foil twist of celery salt, or slices of peppers and carrots to dip in humus would work.

Hard boiled eggs travel well, no picnic is complete without a hard boiled egg! Wink

Are you drinking anything at this picnic?

Put your drinks in the freezer and they will act as your ice packs.

Can take whatever food you want then.

Vegetarian/vegan sausage roll

Mini Frittatas, orzo pasta salad, small quails eggs. Or a sourdough roll layered to make a pan bagnat.

Smoked salmon palmiers www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/smoked-salmon-poppy-seed-palmiers

Pimms jelly in little pots or Raspberry scones. I would take a mini flask for tea or go full Enid with homemade ginger ale.
