Please calm me down. Panicking and lonely.

I woke up this morning feeling so nervous about nothing. At about 3 o'clock I felt really suddenly exhausted and dizzy. I've had no appetite all day, and feel a bit sick, even after forcing a sandwich down. Then I went to the toilet and had spotting, and thought 'okay great, I'm coming on my period, that explains everything', even though it's only 4 weeks since my last one & since my last pregnancy my periods are often 5-7 weeks apart.

But the spotting hasn't turned into a period, and I'm home alone feeling terrible and googled the symptoms and it comes up with early pregnancy. I know no one can tell me for sure, but I'd appreciate any words of reassurance that feeling ill is making me panic. I feel so ill and lonely I want to cry.

I have no wise words, but am around to chat for a while if you want company?

lifetothefull · 26/06/2019 22:42

We can't tell you what it means. Try and approach it with a clearer head in the morning. Maybe your period will have got going by then anyway.

You sound like you're suffering a bout of anxiety. I used to wake up at 4am feeling totally overwhelmed. Stop googling symptoms, it will only make you feel worse.

ThePhoenixRises · 26/06/2019 22:44

Do you have any tests you could use or anyone around that could pick you up one?

Flower777 · 26/06/2019 22:48

I’m here too OP.

Try and take a few deep breaths.

How would you feel if you were pregnant?

CathScarlett · 26/06/2019 22:56

How would you feel if you were pregnant? Absolutely gutted.

I do have quite bad anxiety anyway so I'm sure I'm catastrophising things. I really hope so.

I could go to the 24 hour Tesco ThePhoenixRises, but I feel too ill to. All my body feels like it's aching.

Thank you so much for the messages. I can't wait until the morning when hopefully everything feels better Flowers

Try and get some sleep or relax at least . I put a low level light on and sleep With tv on low for company or listen to a play. Things are always better in the morning Smile

CathScarlett · 26/06/2019 23:33

Thanks daffodil. I'm lying on the sofa watching the soaps now then I'm going to bed and hoping I'll manage to sleep. I've found some paracetamol so hopefully they'll kick in and help.
