FT working parents, can i ask what you do?

How did you get into it, and do you like it?

I like working, it gives me purpose. Currently am bored shitless but nice people, paid well and i dont want to rock the boat (having had bad pay, hours or people in prior jobs). I also already did a career change once. Age 37 and looking for new perspectives.

I've been running my own business for ten years now. I began it when DD1 was small and I couldn't afford to return to work due to childcare fees.

I'm a copywriter. What was very part-time initially is now very much full-time and I'm considering taking on an assistant soon.

Im in (lets say) internal communications having switched over from a technical side 8 years ago.

How did you get into it, did you always like writing? I dont personally, but im really curious how people get into what they do.
