Please!! Any new ideas? My son has had verrucas (8 of them) for about 3 years and they do not go. He is getting depressed about them. I have tried many treatments, freezing, salicylic acid, teatree, dead sea salt baths, colloidal silver, etc.The doctors say it is his age and they may take some time, but 3 years and no improvement, in fact the opposite. The silver showed the best (slight) improvement but now getting worse again even with that. Please help!

I can't offer any actual advice but my dd had them for absolutely years - she's now nearly 14 and I would say she's been clear of them for about 6 months thank god. We tried everything and nothing worked so just left them in the end on the advice of the dr as they were not irritating her.
So really just wanted to say they will eventually disappear x

Thanks for that. We are now trying duct tape since he has left school now and wont be embarrassed about that too! I have no faith that duct tape will work but he wants me to be trying something. x

A podiatrist said to me 'tiger' tape works better than duct tape.

I have a very old one that I'm booked to try dry needling with, fingers crossed this works.
