Summer footwear round house?

I know this is a first world problem but I really don't see the point of socks round the house in summer - it just creates effort washing, folding and sorting.

I'm in bare feet whenever it's warm enough but DH and DD (14) insist on socks - what happens in your house?

Flip flops for me and dh, ds1 prefers either bare feet or socks and ds 2 is bare footed.

Socks and slippers mostly - even when it’s warm outside it’s cool in the house (joys of 165 year old thick Cornish cottage walls) and I can’t abide cold feet!!

I never wear shoes indoors now after living in Korea for a bit and we all just wear slider type slippers around

Bare feet pretty much from May through the September. This includes inside and out on the patio. If feet are chilly in the evening I’m generally under a blanket for watching tv etc.
