Have you ever looked forward to something only to be really disappointed?

Haven't had rose in a long while. Finally bought some since it's a summer's day. Took a sip. It tastes like pissy vinegar. I was really looking forward to this glass of rose. It gets a big thumbs down.

Anyone else ?

Hmm, many times! I think my most notable recent disappointment was a Thornton’s box of chocolates.....what has changed I don’t know but they were slimy!
