Some posts are truly trivial and I think that the posters that believe the daily mail would be deeply interested in the minutia of their daily lives are deluded and conceited.

Have you seen the number of threads that the DM has picked up on?

Soola · 22/06/2019 12:36

I love the Daily Mail so please don’t rope me in with the hate.

Queenbetty · 22/06/2019 12:39

The daily mail and other shitty papers/sites pick up on the most mundane posts.

It's not conceited or deluded - i feel bad for posters who post something fairly mundane then the daily fail picks it up.

They love posts about dating, weddings, in laws. I recently got ripped to pieces for putting a daily mail disclaimer on my post - I was just trying to mitigate any risk...

Work12 · 22/06/2019 13:12

Genuine question, why does it matter if the Daily Mail posts it as everything is anonymous??

MustardScreams · 22/06/2019 13:14

@Work12 because even if it is anonymous some threads would be easy to work out who it was if you knew the situation. The DM picking it up leads to a much wider spread of the thread and reaches people that don’t necessarily use MN, and therefore easier to be found out.

honeygirlz · 22/06/2019 13:16

There's no rhyme or reason to the shit the Daily Heil will take.

Plus they're constantly on here so every thread should be prefaced with a warning to them.

honeygirlz · 22/06/2019 13:18

@Soola OP didn't say ALL mumsnetters
