A few hours to kill in Watford. Ideas please?

Have a few hours to kill before going to the Harry Potter studio. Any ideas, kids are 14 and 11.

There’s a Laser Planet and Hollywood Bowl.
Cassiobury Park is a a nice place to visit, especially if the weather stays lovely. There are a few circular walks through the woodland, plenty of places for a picnic as well as a few cafes. Yours are probably too old for play areas but there’s space for ball games. It might impress them that sections of Star Wars Episode 1 were filmed here!

I think there’s a cinema there now, as well as bowling and the laser tag x

If you have transport, St Albans is a twenty minute drive from Harry Potter Studios. Verulamiam park there is lovely, nice places to eat, a cathedral and some nice shops.

I read that as Walford. Go to the Queen Vic

watford vue is near the harry potter studios. not much else. Watford shops are good, are you driving to the studios?

There isn't too much to do that is out of the ordinary.

How are you travelling? The studio about 15 minutes drive from Watford town centre. If you are driving, you could visit St Albans which has more sightseeing type things (Cathedral, Roman museum) and is only 20 mins from the studio.

If you are coming by train via London, you could stop off and do a tour of Wembley (it's on the same line) or do some sightseeing in London. The Wellcome Collection is right next to Euston. Or you could walk to Kings Cross (10 mins from Euston) and go to platform 9 3/4.
