Not getting on well with pill after baby

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else had found their contraception of choice doesn’t agree with them after pregnancy?

I have a 7.5 month old DD and was always on the combined pill before conceiving, partly to surpress my horrendous periods and awful endo symptoms. Never had any issues or side effects.

I’ve now gone back on it as my pp periods have been awful, but am not getting on with it at all. I am weepy all the time, nauseous, dizzy spells - although I’m not sure if that’s just the norm for being knackered with a baby?

The worst thing is that my stress levels are spiking really quickly whenever DD is difficult - I’m getting really het up about weaning as she isn’t really interested, she has a terrible teething rash all over her neck and chin and I’ve been massively stressed about her general development as well as she was prem so is a bit behind. I’m having to do a lot of counting to ten and talking in a sing song voice to stop myself communicating my stress to DD and then going in another room and bursting into tears Confused.

I was assuming it was to do with the pill but am wondering if this is just normal at this stage?
