Gross smell in nose won't go away!

I've got a bad kind of off smell in my nose and back of mouth taster for the past 2 days. Otherwise fine. Just keep smelling it. Teeth fine recently checked, no tonsil stones, don't have a cold.

What is it!? Why won't it go away. Its rancid.

Does that need a doctor? Or will it go away? I thought with sinus' I'd have pain and stuffiness?

I’d say manky sinuses too. Trip to the pharmacist, you may get away with Sudafed but they’ll know best.

You could buy a nasal wash out off Amazon, about a fiver. Small squeezy bottle that you fill with water and add a sachet of the salt that comes with it. Wash out both nostrils. Best thing ever!

Maybe try a neti pot.

I had this a few years ago - needed a course of antibiotics to clear it up. I'd never heard of nasal washers etc then so I didn't tried that first.

Are you over 5 years old? Otherwise I'd say check for peas and/or lego.

No, no symptoms at all - I felt perfectly fine. The GP did say that the glands in my neck were a bit swollen, but I hadn't noticed. I waited for it to go away for about two or three weeks and then gave up and went to the doctors.

Went to pharmacist and she said go to docs docs and they've given me a prescription steroid nasal spray and to rinse with saline. I bought a Neti pot too so have been rinsing with that.
It's still strong. Had the steroid since Thursday. All food just tastes awful like off and salty. It's horrid. I only want to eat really plain things.
Not sure how long it'll take to work.
