We are on a pay as you go meter and two weeks ago there was a power cut which damaged it, the meter was 11 years old. It was showing a blank screen and would not take new credit off the key.
We had it replaced today but there was £50 in the old meter . And there is also £20 stuck on the old key which the old meter refused to take. We have been told to ring their HQ on Friday of next week.
We have managed to put some credit on the new meter which was put in today.
Has anyone else had this and managed to get their money transferred to their new meter.
