Don’t fancy getting kicked out of Tesco’s or anything

No, think you'd be ok in them. Don't wear those fluffy sliders that look like slippers with them though!

Nixen · 19/06/2019 14:56

I cannot get over the price?!

BummyKnocker · 19/06/2019 14:57

This is the current fashion, comfy but not making any style statements.

Bluntness100 · 19/06/2019 14:57

No, but I'm not sure why you'd wish to wear them 😋

Shelvesoutofbooks · 19/06/2019 14:57

My first thought when I saw the picture was - what do you mean you would look like wearing pajamas when it is obviously pajamas

Then I saw it wasn't pajamas. And then I saw the price. Don't do it.

Hermeshandbags · 19/06/2019 15:06

I saw them in the shop yesterday and they definitely didn’t look like pyjamas, however on the photo you have provided they do! They don’t know the flesh so to speak!

ChopinIn10Minuets · 19/06/2019 15:12

If you're 5ft 10, 19 and have legs that wouldn't disgrace a West End dancer, you can probably get away with this ensemble. If, however, your username is any indication of your body type Wink or if you show any other sign of belonging to the vast majority of the human race, you'd best steer clear. Or wear the Primark rip-offs indoors only.

BarbaraofSevillle · 19/06/2019 15:43

They describe them as 'lounging trousers' so I don't think you're actually supposed to leave the house wearing them.

'House clothes' for people who don't wear pyjamas.

LeslieKnopeforPM · 19/06/2019 15:49

I think they are rather nice, they don't look like pyjamas and they are not too expensive. I might be the only one though judging by this thread! I thought they were going to be something much worse.

LeslieKnopeforPM · 19/06/2019 15:53

Tbh I'm now a bit worried since I wear some variation of patterned trousers and loose top almost every day Confused I didn't realise people would think it looked like crap

Asta19 · 19/06/2019 16:47

I have a pair the same but in a different pattern Blush
Although I bought them in the sale a couple of years ago. They are really comfortable and lovely and cool in hot weather (I don't wear skirts/shorts). So I would buy them.

TurnOffTheTv · 19/06/2019 16:49

They look like a typical 'Mum' outfit from Next. But just with a ridiculous price tag.

gotmychocolateimgood · 19/06/2019 16:49

Anything that vaguely resembles pyjamas is a yes from me!

NameChangeNugget · 19/06/2019 16:51

They’re lovely. Go for it

CastleGin · 19/06/2019 16:51

I like them. But think you can get cheaper ones xx

SilverySurfer · 19/06/2019 17:46

Yes, I would assume you were wearing your PJs and they seem expensive for what they are..

BertrandRussell · 19/06/2019 17:55

I wear things like this all the time. I don’t think they look like pyjamas. But I wouldn’t care if people thought they did.

40 quid is ridiculous though.

Kaiylee · 19/06/2019 18:08

The photo looks like pyjamas to me.

It's the combination of loose, drawstring, patterned, lightweight pants with cuffed ankles combined with a plain loose v neck top.

Almost every set of pjs I own has most if not all of these features.

OccidentalPurist · 19/06/2019 18:25

The only times I've this type of trouser look good in about three years is on very slim, tanned young women, paired with a skimpy top to give a sexy look.

Worn any other way it's pyjamas, yes. Sorry!

Unshriven · 19/06/2019 18:29

If you are over 25, Fatface is not for you.

Fairylea · 19/06/2019 18:31

They’re lovely but you can get very similar ones to that in H and M for about £12.

Dowser · 19/06/2019 18:34

Definitely pajamas

NannyRed · 19/06/2019 18:34

I love the look of them, not pyjama-ry at all.
They’d look awful on me as I’m a short, slightly dumpy, 55 year old. But if you have the figure they look great.

I disagree with @Unshriven about needing to be young, I have some fabulous pieces that suit me (wrap around dress, wrap top, v neck t-shirts etc) from Fatface, it’s nice quality stuff too.

Definitely not pyjama-ish.

Waiting1987 · 19/06/2019 18:43

I think they are hideous, but I don't think they look like pjs. If you like them then go for it!
