I’m not a hairdresser but I hate going because I hate the forced small talk. Luckily I have a lovely hairdresser who has children in the same school as mine so we do have common ground but I still find it draining.
I often coming away thinking how on earth do they do it all day everyday? I imagine most people start chit chatting, that’s 8 hours of it!
I’m know I’m not a particularly social person, I work in a small team and have my own office so I probably only chat for an hour a day, spread over the whole day.
