Pram to fit into Ford Fiesta

Hi Mumsnet, I have a Ford Fiesta and need to find a pram that will fold down and fit into the boot. It's not a very big boot and I'm having no luck. Thanks!!

I'd recommend having a look at Oyster prams if you haven't already. I had an Oyster zero that fitted in my Kia Picanto so that would definitely fit and we're buying an Oyster 3 this time round which folds to a tiny size and fits really easily into the Peugeot 206 with lots of space.

Hi I had a icandy peach with DS1 and a fiesta - fit fine once you took off one of the wheels, I appreciate that’s a bit of a pain though.

Have a look at the mamas and papas ocarro. I can fit it in the boot of a citroen c1 when needed.

I stupidly bought my pram before the car and ended up having to get a Silver Cross Pioneer in my Fiesta! I put the base in the boot and the cot wedged in the footwell behind the driver seat (obviously fine with just the 1 DC). The cot would fit in the boot if it were collapsed.

Now using the pushchair and both fit in the boot fine.

Think my friend has a bugaboo which folds down small.

I have a meego milano which is pretty big and could squeeze it in the fiesta boot with a wheel or two off. You do get sick of doing it though. It was either a new car or a buggy for us, ours was 3 door too so we went for a new car.

Iv got a mamas and papas flip xt3 and it folds nice and small, you don't have to take the wheels off.

I'm out of date but my experience is buggies that come apart in 2 pieces are better than umbrella folds, which are too long and thin. You don't need it to fold down tiny, just for it to fold in similar proportions to the boot space.

We had a silver cross 3D (DC wasn't keen), icandy cherry and then an out n about nipper double, all in my Skoda fabia boot with no need to remove parcel shelf. I once emerged from Tesco with 2 kids and a huge weekly food shop to discover I had the double buggy in the boot. It was fine, I managed to squeeze all the shopping in with both kids and the double buggy. Never worried about running out of space after that. You'll find something!

My bugaboos bee5 fits into the boot of my fiesta. But it doesn't leave space for much else!

absolutehush · 18/06/2019 17:57

Just to say - that's the bee5 with bassinet/cot. I think it will be smaller once I start using the seat!

Babyzen yoyo in my fiesta, I did have the icandy Orange and it filled the entire boot!
