Drama in the neighbourhood

I called out for Roger, the crow, and he showed up. I tossed him a muffin. He does love a bit of cranberrySmile
He did his usual thing of dunking it in the puddle before eating it.
He clearly took too long, as the local hoodlum pigeons showed up to try and get some. He grabbed the biggest piece, and backed away, but there were too many for him to chase off.
A few other birds tried their hand (or break, as it were) but he scares them off.

Suddenly, everyone scatters!
It's Zena, the cat from the corner, and she's looking to hunt!

Now all the birds are perched up the garden walls and on the house roof, waiting for her to go back home, and scolding her as loudly as they can, and she acts likes she's deaf, and just here for a cuddle!

Poor Rog- just wanted his afternoon snack in peace.

Thunderpunt · 18/06/2019 15:44

Zeno is rather beautiful however

Duh! Zena

She really is! I still haven't got her to let me read more of her tag than her name. It does have a ph# and that, but she won't sit still long enough for me to nosy it out.
I do know she has a home, as she's tagged and feed well.

But poor Rog er, just not his day....
