This is my second DC. When I was pregnant with DD I started to feel what felt like little bubbles around 17/18 weeks.
I'm only 13 weeks but have occasionally already felt a similar bubble sensation. Also I was sat in a meeting yesterday so wasn't even thinking about it. When I can only describe as like something flipping around it happened twice. Could I already be feeling my baby move at 13 weeks. Or do you think it's all in my imagination as DH seems to think or possibly gasGrin

Gas, definitely not movements at 13 weeks

MauisHouseOnMaui · 15/06/2019 00:07

It could be movements. It's usual to start feeling movements somewhere between 16 and 25 weeks in a first pregnancy but for a second pregnancy (or third or fourth, etc) it's not uncommon to feel them earlier than that.

I first felt DC3 at 13wks and there was no mistaking it because I was having a scan at the time, he did a particularly spectacular backflip and I felt it. I didn't feel the movements every day at that point but every few days if get a flutter when I presumed he was either doing a big movement or a lot of movement but by around 18wks I was feeling him daily.

It could be. I remember feeling DC3 at 14 weeks, only when I was lying in bed on my stomach though. It was 16 weeks with DC2, 18 with DC1.

I felt second baby super early but it was due to a UTI and my bladder being inflamed. As soon as I had antibiotics I didn't feel them again for a few weeks.

MaidenMotherCrone · 15/06/2019 00:22

Yes, I felt DC1 about then but I was in bed.

14 weeks with number 1, I didn't realize what I was feeling until 17 weeks though. It's was 16 weeks with number 2.

11 weeks with mine. They struggled to scan at 12 weeks as she was bouncing off the walls throughout. Very strange, as she moved in excess of 200 times a day in utero then never moved once born!! I went to hospital anxious about reduced movements at 36 wks and she did 73 in the hour. I was in tears she was so slow, they were like this Shock

I felt dc2 at 13 weeks- I’d previously been Hmm when people said they noticed movement that early, but it’s much easier to pinpoint with your second.
