Or have you done it before? Tips?
Are the loos minging?
Is it carnage at the start?
Ditchling Beacon Hill?

I'm mid point between excited and shitting it. Plus it's a logistical nightmare to get to London for silly o'clock on Sunday morning.

Anyone else going to be there?

Did it a few years ago. It is fab - there was a brass band on Turners Hill Grin. It was fine. It is a big chokka getting out of London (had to get off and queue to do the M25 bit. And that was a 6am start!) but it is basically downhill from about halfway until you get to Turners, then Ditchling Beacon. LOADS of people push up Ditchling - its a bit hard to ride actually as so many people walking. Then a whizz downhill to Brighton, with loads of people clapping you in.

It's fab. Have lots of fun!

ah, knew there had to be somebody here whose done it already.
I'll be pushing up the hill for sure. Undulating is a word I'm hearing alot from people.

My daughter did it with her Uncle and Aunt when she was 14, so it can't be too bad.

It’s not carnage but it is busy

If you’re pushing up the hills be considerate and keep to the side and don’t get in the way of people riding

Be careful on any descents, that’s the scariest if not used to riding in groups

Treat it like driving - assume everyone is incompetent and out to fuck you up. There are a lot of people who don’t know how to ride in a group.

Toilets are no better or worse than you would think. Not something to worry about IMO.

Enjoy! It’s a nice day out.
