I used to work at Morrisons on the salad bar. We had our regular customers and one day this man was struggling to get one of the containers off and I said to him in all innocence 'do you want a hand'. Only to remember he had a hook for one of his hands. I was 
, luckily he saw the funny side.
Also one day this announcement came over the tannoy 'while in store today, why not visit our crumpet department'. Then it suddenly went dead. They had meant to say 'visit our bakery department'
