NC'd for this
So my content blocker alerted me this morning. 11yo DD had put in the words "Jevil Porn" into Google.
FFS,so asking DD about it one if her "friends" told her to go incognito and enter the term.
I'm a bit annoyed (but secretly pleased that my custom blocker caught it), the family of the girl who told my dd to do this are difficult, the dad has happily told me about his porn consumption, including very extreme porn.
This isn't the first time it's happened over the last two years DD has come home from school and tried doing searches that she's been told by classmate not to blab about. And these are the ones that have been caught.
At first I thought it was comming from boys who have older brothers, well the previous occurances have come from a particular boy, but todays, came via a girl.
As always I have that chat with DD, about not doing things her friends tell her to, maybe one day it'll sink in.
The thing that annoyed me was that the instructions were carefully crafted to avoid the default use of a browser to avoid getting caught and that it's very difficult to explain to other parents what their DC has said in the playground.
I guess I should be pleased that I've caught it early before anything really grotesque. It's hard work keeping on top of this.
