Secret Facebook group, anyone good with this stuff who can help?

DD recently started a club and the organiser has a secret page/group (?) on FB for the parents only so we can see photos of various events. She's sent me an invitation to join 3 times along with an email with the link to join but I don't get any notifications on FB and the link just leads me to an error message saying "The link you have followed may broken or the page removed"

Can anyone shine some light on what might be going wrong?

Are you logged in to FB? If the link is taking you to a browser and you’re only logged in to FB on the app you probably need to log in on the browser.

Yeah I'm logged in on a browser which the link is taking me to. I guess I could ask her to try adding my husband instead but you know when it just bugs you when something should work and it doesn't, grrr! The other parents haven't had a problem with it

The best way we found when I ran a secret group was to add people as a friend to my own account - that way I could add them into the group.
I then deleted them from my personal account. A few people had similar issues to you and I couldn't add people unless they were on my friend list.

Maybe ask the organiser if she wouldn't mind doing it that way?

The link won't show you anything as it's a secret group. As pp says, you can be added by a FB friend. So that is the way to go.
