When did you say I love you?

Just curious really, how soon into your relationship did you say I love you to your partner?

New Years Day - just over 3 months after meeting.

My (now)DH told me he loved me after about eight weeks of dating, I was desperately trying to play it cool, but I promptly burst in to tears and told him not to say it if he didn’t mean it, he then spent the next half an hour assuring me that he really did, so I told him the same.

I’d known for a couple of weeks that I’d fallen for him

About 6months

7 weeks. Got together at Christmas, knew it within a couple of weeks, wanted to tell him on Valentine’s Day but he was away on a field trip so had to wait until he got back!

Luckily he reciprocated, first time he’d ever told anyone too

My dh said it quite early, 3 months or so in
I took a bit longer, maybe 4 months
We say it everyday now

If you can’t say it after 9 months, would you say the relationship is going nowhere?

Probably around 6 or 7 months, I think closer to 7.

About 2 or 3 months. DP said it in bed a couple of times but I thought he was asleep so I just ignored him (he talks in his sleep a lot)
