Having sex when pregnant (25 weeks) do or don't?

Hi Mumsnet, is it ok to have sex when 6 months pregnant? Have a weekend away booked with my partner next weekend. I think I would like to but not sure if it may harm me or the baby. Not even sure my man finds me sexually attractive right now as have a bump! Any thoughts on this? Thanks

Unless you have been told not to by your midwife due to complications then it's absolutely fine!

Of course it’s fine, if you both want to and you haven’t been told not to.

Have had four children and had sex all the way through.

It's not a problem unless there's a medical reason or one/both of you don't want to.

(Position wise missionary might get more difficult if your bump is a particularly protruding one so might want to try doggy style or on your sides etc if necessary.)
