Concerts or theatre at the cinema

I have booked seats at my local cinema to watch a Take That concert 'live' but obviously streamed on to the cinema screen. I haven't done this before but I know it's down now and then with various concerts and theatre shows. I was surprised that it was quite pricey (£17) and am wondering what to expect really.

Have you ever done this? What did you see and would you do it again? Was it a similar experience to seeing the event properly live, do you think?

I've seen a few theatre shows at the cinema. I wasn't sure if I would like them but I do. They aren't cheap but are at least half the price of seeing them live and also as local I don't have to factor in travel costs. I would prefer to be at the theatre but cost and time mean the cinema is better than nothing.
