Low sodium levels flagged up.in blood test...what does this mean?

My Dad has had some bloods taken and it's show up.this. GP wants to redo tests in a few weeks.

Any ideas what this perhaps is an indication of?

Some medications, such as diuretics antidepressants and pain medications, can interfere with the normal hormonal and kidney processes that keep sodium concentrations within the healthy normal range.
Heart failure and certain diseases affecting the kidneys or liver can cause fluids to accumulate in your body, which dilutes the sodium in your body, lowering the overall level.
Drinking too much water can cause low sodium by overwhelming the kidneys' ability to excrete water.
Low levels of thyroid hormone also can cause a low blood-sodium level.

Could taking paracetomol everyday cause it?

A few things that may contribute are...

He had lung cancer 7 and a half years ago
He does struggle with his breathing due to this. He is clear or was at his last check up.

He's on a water tablet everyday for life as he's house bound and his ankles swell so GP put him on it for life.

He drinks tea in the morning, water in day and has an alcohol drink at night but I wouldnt say he drinks liquids excessively.

At night he takes a paracetomol think it's just habit but he says this helps any pain he might get

I think water tablets can cause this but I'm not a doctor!

Is your dad feeling okay or did he have the tests due to feeling unwell?

my mum is 80. She has annual bloods and there's always a mystery on there. If she feels fine we tend to ignore it unless doc says otherwise.

They did it as part of an annual meds review...never done it before the bloods that is. This weekend he's been quite breathless so GP came out and we asked about results of blood tests thar were taken 22 May

the bloods have never been done before? Is it possible his sodium was always that level and it's just no one knew?

I don't mean to be flippant but please try not to worry about it.

my mum also takes a couple of paracetamol every night for the same reasons. She's 80, I figure she should do whatever makes her comfortable.

the breathless thing sounds like a change though, are they investigating that? Then again, my mum is out of breath after walking 200 yards. Some of this is just about age.
