I made some stupid education choices at school which I swiftly regretted and eventually started a law degree. By the time I finish my education I will be mid 30s with a small child. I am very much aware of how competitive the field is and am not able to take time off work to get the experience others do. I am hoping to swap roles within civil service in next few years to give me paid experience but am I just setting myself up for disappointment? I am worried I have left it too late
