Has anyone ever won in a magazine puzzle??

I buy take a break and that's life mainly to do the puzzles, I've never won anything though. Maybe I'm just unlucky as I never win anything!
Has anyone on here ever got lucky?

I have on online bingo I won £681 on my first week signing up but since then I've wagered another £100 and never won even a £5 since funny that it was in my first week of signing up though

I won the trolley dash in Take A Break about 25 years ago. Got £750 worth of stuff. I'm still using some of the kitchen equipment I won!

My late grandma bought every single edition faithfully of take a break for circa 15 years before finally winning a whole salmon...

She hated salmon She was a tad annoyed!

My SIL won a TV from Take a Break years ago. My DS won Tweenies Live tickets for his drawing he sent in to the Tweenies magazine.

I won a fabulous 5* holiday for two to Mauritius when I entered a competition in the Waitrose magazine but no luck since then.

I won a front door (bespoke handmade worth about £3k) in a competition in a homes magazine (can’t remember which one). Still going strong 8 years later...

I won a fancy Vileda mop from take a break. I used to work with a woman who won the car when they still gave one away, she had the cash equivalent because she couldn't drive.

I won a bear in a box🤣

When I was ill and off work once and couldn't stand any more day time TV I entered 740 competitions.

I won one....a day's baking experience for two with that year's GBBO winner. It was via Facebook on the Joules page.

That was it from all 740 (though still good!).

I've also won about 20 free sewing patterns from a competition in a sewing magazine.

Dd1 won an ipod mini in a Girl Talk magazine competition 10 years ago & a signed copy of One Direction's biography. No luck since though. I might start entering Take a Break competitions again!

DD won 50 quid of Toys R Us vouchers in the only magazine comp she has ever entered. She saw the competition page and asked me to enter for her so I patiently explained that it was a competition, lots of children would enter and she was very unlikely to win etc etc. Nevertheless she asked me almost daily when her vouchers would arrive and each time I would explain again how a competition works and how she would almost certainly not ever get the vouchers but wasn't it fun to take part etc.
Then of course she won.
Weirdly, she's never shown any interest in entering any other competitions since. Quite surprising really!

Not magazine but I know people who won on Scratch Day competitions on Facebook! And I cashed out on the App.

I won a digital camera from a magazine competition

I won £500 from take a break, also a Norwegian river cruise from a radio station, and a tv from the Waitrose magazine, when flat screen TVs were just coming out.

I won 2 tickets to the Marriage of Figero at the Coliseum decades ago and a blue ray copy of Macbeth staring Michael Fassbender in a competition run by Theatre Monkey about 3 years ago.
