Mispronunciations. My 2 year old currently pronounces vegetables as “benchtables” while 4 year old DD1 discusses packing her “soupcase” for an upcoming holiday. No matter how shitty my day has been those little voices conversing all seriously with their gorgeous mistakes light up my life.

My grandson when he spotted me at the airport shrieked Nanny and ran towards me. When he sees me at the nursery and the staff say your Grandma is here. He, with hands on hips says that's not Grandma, that's my Nanny. Grandma is his mum's mother. When he picked up a round cheese from the supermarket trolley and put it to his ear and said Hewow
