I once met Richard Blackwood at the height of his MTV ‘fame’. He lamented how difficult his life was because when walking through a corridor full of people he would be stopped and have to talk to each and every person - and that was exhausting.

He helpfully pointed out that I on the other hand would be entirely ignored. As I was in a £6 an hour admin job I did not feel sorry for him.
