Can you make your own oil spray?

I often use spray oil, but wanting to cut down on plastics (and cost) I wondered if anyone has had any success in making their own?

It appears you need to dilute the oil with water, but not sure what type of bottle to use.

Any ideas?

You can't dilute oil with water without adding emulsifiers to make them mix.

I bought a refillable spray from Amazon that I just fill with normal oil, but it might have been discontinued:

I used to fill up a Filipo Berio one but they've made them non-refillable, which is apparently due to an EU law designed to stop restaurants filling up olive oil bottles in condiments sets with generic oil from a big bottle, due to hygiene and allergy labelling requirements.
