I feel guilty about waking my baby up

But if I don't then we would hardly go out!
He's almost 5 months and has a nap in the morning and afternoon, he's napping now but we need to leave the house in 10 minutes, I can't manage to get him into the car seat without waking him then I feel so guilty!

Do people change their plans when baby is asleep or do you just wake them up???

Just wake him up. If it’s to put him in his pram or car seat then he generally will go back to sleep soon after anyway.
