But why is it none of your business?

So I see this all the time on here.

It’s none of my/your/our business so butt out.

But why??? Why can’t it be my business? Where is the morality!

Because most of the time, people aren't particularly concerned with the real welfare or well being of others. They just want to judge and feel better about their own choices. People have no problem minding their own business when it comes to walking past homeless people or not giving a shit that there are thousands of kids in local authority care with crap life prospects. They just give a shit that someone is vilified for parking in a parent and child space unnecessarily or that they're feeding their kid coke in a buggy.

It depends on what you're talking about really.

If you just want to nose into the lives of others and judge the fuck out them them, then no, it's none of your business.

It depends

If a child or vulnerable adult is being hurt it’s our business

If it down to is feeling morally superior then no it isn’t

@EnthusiasmIsDisturbed - spot on!

Lol I literally had this in a thread I’ve made. I suppose I did sound like I was nosing ect but it was from a place of actual concern. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Especially rich as we’re on the Internet and it’s just nice to get some advice.
