I'm new to all this but just got some period delay tablets online, and although I appreciate I probably paid more than the NHS prescription rate for them, the convenience won out for me on this occasion.
I had to fill out a questionnaire and as I understand it a pharmacist would have approved it, but not a doctor?
So I was thinking its a handy option for the future, but does anyone know if there are some things online aren't able to prescribe? I mean, if you had tonsilitus could they prescibe antibiotics? Decent pain relief if you're stuck at home and struggling? Or are those GP only?
Not the worlds most pressing question I know but I am curious as its so frustrating when you can't get an appointment face to face, but there must be limits to what they can prescribe?
